The mission of Alice Robertson Junior High School is to provide an educational learning environment that is rigorous, supportive and creative. All members of the learning community will strive to nurture an environment in which every person is valued as an individual, challenged as a learner, encouraged to be a lifelong learner and inspired to contribute to a democratic society.
Five pre-AP courses, Musical theater, robotics, sports, pre-engineering, band, choir, archery, FCCLA, service learning, game coding, NASA, photography and much more await the ARJHS Legacy student. And with so many educational and extracurricular opportunities at Legacy, every student can find their niche where they feel comfortable, yet intellectually challenged, through project-based learning and the use of the district’s 1:1 Digital Initiative.
ARJHS Legacy features educational opportunities and activities for every learner, including:
· Pre-AP classes in science, math, social studies, English and Spanish
· Service learning and many clubs, including Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and Native American Student Advocacy
· Career-tech classes, including pre-engineering and robotics
· A variety of electives, including:
