New Tech Academy

Muskogee Public Schools is pleased to announce that we have a new junior high experience at Alice Robertson Junior High School – the New Tech Academy at ARJHS.

The New Tech Academy is housed in the new building now at ARJHS, featuring high-tech classrooms and science labs, solar and wind power, and an integrated-classroom design. The new building opened for the 2015-2016 school year, and houses core classes for 100 seventh-graders and 100 eighth-graders.

Those students enjoy the New Tech design in learning, which provides an instructional approach centered on project-based learning, a culture that empowers students and teachers, and integrated technology in the classroom. The hands-on, multi-year approach gives schools structure and support to ensure long-term success.

All Muskogee sixth- and seventh-graders who are interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and enjoy a hands-on learning experience are encouraged to apply for the next school year.
